Easter Schedule 2017

It will be business as usual up to and including Monday 10 April and the normal schedule will apply to goods with anticipated delivery dates up to and on this date. During the period Tuesday 11 April to Tuesday 18 April inclusive, a separate traffic plan will apply as described here.

Our transport time calculations and quality measurements will be conducted based on the normal schedule, so some reduction in quality should be anticipated during this period.

Summary of our schedule

• On Monday 10 April the normal schedule will apply (to goods deposited by Friday 7 April)
• Tuesday and Wednesday (11 April and 12 April): Reduced delivery frequency
• Tuesday 18 April: Reduced delivery frequency
• The normal schedule applies to goods deposited from Wednesday 19 April inclusive

Collection

During the period Monday 10 April to Tuesday 18 April inclusive, collection of goods will take place according to the Easter schedule and latest collection times may be somewhat earlier than normal for certain terminals. This will be communicated locally to individual customers.

There will be no collection of goods on Maundy Thursday (13th), Good Friday (14th) or Easter Monday (17th) when all our terminals will be closed.

Delivery and distribution

There will be alterations to services and distribution during the period Tuesday 11 April to Tuesday 18 April inclusive, so somewhat longer delivery times must be anticipated.

In general, the following will apply:

• Rail transport only (not motor vehicles) will be utilised for rail routes. This may entail somewhat longer delivery times for some of the routes on which goods are being transported.
• Distribution at our local branches will accommodate lower volumes than normal during this period. A somewhat reduced delivery frequency must be anticipated, particularly to rural destinations.
• Our transport time calculations and quality measurements will be conducted based on the normal schedule, so some reduction in quality should be anticipated during this period.

Home delivery

Evening delivery bookings will be suspended during Easter (from 11 April to 18 April inclusive). As a result, supplementary services will be suspended during the same period.

It will be possible to book daytime home delivery in accordance with the applicable Easter schedule and production. This applies to the hours of 8 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm.

The earliest possible opportunity to arrange evening delivery after Easter is 19 April.

Time window

• The service will be suspended from when goods are deposited on 7 April to 18 April inclusive.
• The normal schedule applies to goods deposited from Wednesday 19 April onwards.

Part loads

• Part loads will be processed as normal up to Friday 7 April inclusive. All the vehicles' driving times and stops are scheduled to allow them to return on 8 and 9 April.
• Contact your local Part Loads department for further information about our delivery times during Easter.

InNight

InNight services will operate on all working days as described below:

200 km distance - goods will be loaded and delivered according to the following timetable during Easter Week:

• Monday 10 April for delivery Tuesday 11 April
• Tuesday 11 April for delivery Wednesday 12 April
• Wednesday 12 April for delivery Thursday 13 April

Tuesday 18 April: normal services resume.

500 km distance - goods will be loaded and delivered according to the following timetable during Easter Week:

• Monday 10 April for delivery Tuesday 11 April
• Tuesday 11 April for delivery Wednesday 12 April
• Wednesday 12 April for delivery Tuesday 18 April

Tuesday 18 April: normal services resume.

NB: Saturday deliveries on the Arendal route will be delivered during the night of 12-13 April.
